Winning Ways Winter 2008 and 2009Camp Information

 

Holiday Hoops Camp

Holiday Offensive Skills Series Camps

For: Boys and Girls in grades 3rd thru 10th (ages will be divided for drill sets and games)

When: December 29 – 31, 2008

Time: 10am to 2pm

Where: Estero High School

Cost: $30 per day or $75 for all three days!

Bring your own lunch and Winning Ways will provide the Gatorade!

Save when you sign up for all three days and receive a Holiday Camp T-Shirt

 

Parent-Child Holiday Hoops Camp

Come spend the day with your Son or Daughter

For: Boys and Girls from 1st grade to 8th grade, Fathers, Mothers, Sons and Daughters are all welcome!

When: January 2, 2009 from 10am to 2pm

Where: Estero High School

Cost: $55 includes Parent and Child

CAMP DESCRIPTIONS

 

Advanced Shooting Camps

Beware: 

This is for the Serious Basketball Player! 

Only Players who want to Score need apply!

 

This camp is for the serious player!  The camp is limited to 30 players with only 5 players per basket! 

 

We will focus on 8 Pro Moves out of the Triple Threat Position!  Pump fake and go, first step explosion, how to be devastating in the paint and gaining separation off the dribble will all be taught! 

 

If you want to learn the secret to getting your Three Point Shot off this is the Camp for You!

 

Beware of Tired Legs after this event.....please check with your Doctor before attending this camp as you will shoot in excess of 500 shots! 

 

You will learn and develop a complete set of shooting drills for you to insert into your workout program!

 

This camp is for the SERIOUS Middle School or High School Player!  This is not a beginner program! 

 

Camp is for Serious Boys and Girls!  All players are recommended to have attended our basic shooting camp or clinic before attending this program!

Nothing But Nets Camps

• Boys and Girl Camps
• Early Hoopsters Program available, drop off at 7:30am
• Every camper receives a Nothing but Net’s Camp T-Shirt.
• Focus of the camp is to raise the player’s basketball ability while having lots of fun.
• Campers will learn drills, improve shooting skills and play games.
• Camper grouping based on ability, skill level and age.
• Campers will be involved with daily games, contests and awards

Basic Shooting Camp

Setup, delivery and visualization of shooting techniques; create player enthusiasm; 3 point setup; foul shooting mechanics; 1 on 1 offensive footwork; shooting off the dribble; create shot opportunities.

 

Each player will be given the knowledge, technique, and confidence to shoot the basketball consistently.

 

Guard Camp

Camp Overview:

This session will emphasize ball handling, developing a 3 to 1 assist to turnover ratio, defending the ball full court, how to be a leader in practice and games, and understanding when to go and when to slow!  Learn what it takes to become the creator, playmaker and decision maker for your team!  You will learn drills and concepts that you can take with you to practice on your own!  If you play 1, 2, or 3 on your team, this session will help you understand the basic fundamentals of efficient offensive execution.

 

Post Camp

 

Camp Overview:

This session will teach all players seven great post moves, how to control the "trenches" and how to get position to get possession.  This session will give the player the principles needed to play this dominating position.  Positioning, leverage and the specific how to's will be covered in the sessions. This session is excellent for Post Players as well as Guards and Forwards who want to lean how to be deadly in the paint!
